MegaFood recently published its 2025 Impact Report, highlighting its progress in sustainability initiatives.

By embedding sustainability into how we source, make, and deliver our products, we strive to nurture both the health of people and the planet today and for generations to come.”

Key Highlights

The company was re-certified as a B Corporation, and received 115.8 points from the nonprofit, representing a 42% improvement. The score was a reflection of the company’s commitment to environmental action, wellness through clinical research and scientific data, and strategic giving, it reported.

The company maintained a 32% reduction in emissions intensity relative to its 2022 baseline, even while operating across two facilities during a relocation.

Since becoming a 1% for the Planet member, the company has surpassed $2 million in total contributions across financial support, product donations, and employee volunteerism.

The company now uses 25% less plastic in its packaging, and more post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. The company’s packaging is designated as widely recyclable by How2Recycle.

The company was recently recognized by Progressive Grocer for philanthropic innovation and corporate giving, for work being done outside of its supply chain.
